Over the last three decades, Cargill in collaboration with several organizations and partners, has focused on enhancing the livelihoods of livestock and aqua farmers, raising animal health and welfare while tirelessly working on improving education for children nationwide. Since 1996, Cargill has trained over 1.7 million Vietnamese farmers in animal nutrition, health, farm management & biosecurity and transferred best practices through our widespread dealer network and direct farms. Cargill has also taken significant steps to make its operations more sustainable by implementing energy-efficient practices, process efficiencies and investing in renewable energy. Additionally, through Cargill Cares, a community impact flagship initiative, the company has built and handed over 114 schools, benefiting more than 17,000 students annually across 54 provinces, with a total investment exceeding US$6 million.
